Helpful information for using the directories:
CONGREGATION DIRECTORY
Search Options: You may search for a congregation
by its name, city, or zip code.
Print Directory: Also on the search page box you
will find the phrase "Downloadable Printable Version." Click
here to download and print a complete directory of NC Synod congregations.
This directory is fed by the synod database, so it will constantly change
as information is updated from congregations.
Click Search: Once you have located the congregation,
the first screen will reveal the name, city, e-mail address and
phone number.
More Info: Click on the magnifying glass in
the last column. It will open a second page that contains the congregation's
conference, conference cluster, ELCA #, county, street and
mailing address (if different), Web site URL address, e-mail address,
fax number and affiliated contacts.
Affiliated Contacts: This is a list of the people
on the synod database affiliated with the congregation. The congregation's
pastor(s) will have YES in the Called and Pastor columns.
Rostered lay staff (associates in ministry, diaconal ministers
and deaconesses) will have a YES under Called only.
Ordained clergy not called to the congregation will have a YES under Pastors only.
These may be retired clergy, visitation pastors, contract clergy or clergy
serving in other capacities such as synod staff or chaplains.
ROSTERED LEADERS DIRECTORY
Restricted: Because of security and privacy, this
directory of synod rostered leaders is available only to rostered
leaders; synod committees; Synod Council; administrative offices of organizations,
institutions and agencies; and congregational staff. It is
password protected. If you fit into one of these categories, you may
contact the synod office for the password information. dryan@nclutheran.org

list of clergy available for pulpit supply is only for rostered
leaders and congregational staff. It is password protected. If you fit
into one of these categories, you may contact the synod office for the
password information. Availability: If you are an ordained
clergy person available for pulpit supply or need to have your name removed,
